► The Kribi-Lolabe highway, a Chinese-built freeway, spans the southern region of Cameroon, forging a link between the Kribi Deep Seaport and the country’s N7 national highway.
It adheres to Chinese standards throughout its design, construction, and operational phases.
Kribi Highway Management (KHM), a subsidiary of China Harbour Engineering Company, has taken an approach by assimilating Chinese highway operation and management standards. Through their efforts, these standards have been translated into French, enabling Cameroon to craft its own set of modern highway operation and management protocols.
The highway not only benefits the port transportation and logistics, but also creates jobs and contributes to local prosperity.
