Le président brésilien rejette toute immixtion américaine en matière douanière et technologique

►►Le président brésilien Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva a déclaré jeudi que son pays ne tolérerait aucune ingérence étrangère dans ses affaires intérieures.

BRASILIA- Le président brésilien Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva a déclaré jeudi que son pays ne tolérerait aucune ingérence étrangère dans ses affaires intérieures, sur fond de tensions croissantes avec les Etats-Unis concernant de nouveaux droits de douane et des réglementations dans le numérique.

 

 

 

S’exprimant devant des milliers d’étudiants lors d’un congrès national à Goiania, dans le centre-sud du Brésil, il a rejeté toute ingérence étrangère dans le processus judiciaire brésilien, soulignant que les poursuites engagées contre l’ancien président Jair Bolsonaro n’avaient rien à voir avec les négociations sur les droits de douane.

« Nous n’accepterons aucune ingérence étrangère », a martelé le président Lula.

 

 

Il a promis une réponse civilisée et démocratique tout en annonçant que les plateformes numériques aux Etats-Unis seraient tenues de se conformer à la loi brésilienne et de payer des impôts. Le président brésilien a accusé ces entreprises de diffuser de fausses informations et de nuire à la société brésilienne.

« Ce pays est souverain. Aucun étranger ne dicte des ordres au président du Brésil. Mon seul patron est le peuple brésilien », a-t-il déclaré.
